of course when itta came back, she had to bring her 2
so now i am back up to 4 cats.

so we have 4 litter boxes. tonight i changed out all the litter before going to bed.. however now i am awake why you may ask..

cause the 4 cats are racing from box to box fighting over who gets to use it first. After they finish with one box, they run out and stright for another one..

now all the cats are racing around sounding like herd of cows in the house.

does any one else have this issue?

Never!
They gotta run around so they can work out some poo!

Ahhh....I do remember back when I only had four cats, though.

My litterboxes are in the basement so I don't here too much noise plus its nice outside so they use the great outdoors as there litterbox!!

Cows can actually run-they seem to move a bit faster when they are let out of the barn after milking.

Nope, cows can move quite fast when they want to. Mom said her Dad had one that was quite fast and could crawl under the barbed wire fence.

Forgive me, I did not in any way intend to malign our bovine friends. I am actually a great fan of cows, and I have seen all the old westerns in which they stampede quite convincingly!
It's just when you're expecting a comparison to "wild horses" and you get "herd of cows"... it just struck me funny...

Sheesh, gimme a break, it was 3:30 in the morning!

I know it well

Tonka is known for it more then any of them. He will go from box to box to box before settling in on the last one. He does this EVERY time he goes.

I've always been amazed the noise cats make when they are running! Even when Sparkle was 8 weeks old, and weighed almost nothing, she sounded like a 25 lb. galloping animal.

Hope you get some sleep tonight!
