How much dry food do you go through a month?
About 900 g. per cat. That's roughly 2 lbs.

How many cats do you have?
One 6.3 kg. male (about 14 lbs), plus one "moocher", i.e. our neighbor's 7 kg. (15.5 lb.) female.

What dry food do you feed? Currently Orijen, Prairie's Raw Instincts, Eagle Pack Holistic, and Feline Porta 21. There are several other brands I use, too, but nothing from the supermarket/regular pet store. I buy from online specialty stores.

Do you also feed wet food? If so, How much a day?
In addition to 30 g. (1/4 cup) of dry food, I feed one 80 g./3 ounce can of an all meat/and or fish wet food.

Kandie ate up to 13oz of wet ( no dry )

Zoey eats about a teaspoon ( I prefer 50wet/ 50 dry but she doesnt

1/2 oz to 1 oz per lb per day ....

up to double for kittens

That's what I was thinking when I posted, as the quantity depends so much on the brand of food, as well as the age, activity level and size of the cat.

I know that, thats why I was asking brands and such.

I feed Innova, Eagle Pack, & Nutro MAX cat for the housecats. I go through....4-6 lbs a month collectively? That is for 6 cats. Then I got Molly. She's a pig & threw my calcuatlions off. I also feed wet, but I do not keep track of how much of that I go through as I feed 7 outdoor cats that as well, plus a fer strays & ferals.

Not sure this is really meant for me as I feed mostly wet food, but I'll answer anyway

How much wet food - Mosi has 150g wet per day plus approx 20g dry - I sprinkle the dry on top of the wet. He has 3 meals like that a day. Jaffa eats all wet.

Right now, Wellness Chicken and CORE

They average 5-6oz/day. 2 of them eat raw (3-4oz each). Between the 8 of them, they eat about 29-35oz wet per day, plus 7oz raw.

We gave up dry food earlier this year. My old answers might be more helpful to you....
