It has been a busy month, and I have not posted much. But I have been following all of my friends here.

And see where Sam and I went today.

I'll crop this a little more, so you can see him in all his glory, but I like this effect as well.

And this evening, I will take photos of Sam fishing in the aquarium.

Well it may not be on his wish list, but he's going to get a new kitty to play with. We've started looking and should have a "spare" cat in the household in January.

Was Sam a good kitty this year? LOL

I actually thought about taking mine in for Santa pics at PetSmart (the money goes to helping homeless animals), but I can't see them actually sitting in Santa's lap for anything. Trent maybe, but Ophelia - no way!

I wasn't sure how it would go either. Sam is a very calm and friendly cat, but a bit nervous in new situations. You can see in the photo that Santa has a really good grip on him, and you can't see me off camera holding on to the other end of the leash. It's all cleverly disguised in Santa's beard. Sam does not like dogs at all, and he was complaining a bit before we got to the front of the line.

I was especially proud when the beagle puppy in front of us was very apprehensive, and escaped up the aisle. They had to leave, without a picture.

I did say that they can't possibly pay that Santa enough money to do this all weekend. And the money goes to the local SPCA.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
How Great! I can't imagine being able to get our guys out of the crate.

Speaking of which.... are you looking for a new kitty? Or a feral rescue? We still have three kitties outside that need homes.... (I know - I'm shameless!)

Shameless works. And believe me, I have considered it. But I am in Canada, which is the biggest problem. And we need a cat that is well socialized. Because the cats will have the freedom to go to work with me, (the main floor of the house I live in), and I need to know that the new girl will be reliable around strangers and open doors.

That's why I want to know that Booger has a happy new home, so I won't need to take her.

We will be going to the local rescue society, and I've specified an adult cat, and would love to take one that has been there a while. Those are the kittys that make me cry.
