I live in NJ, and went to the Philadelphia Zoo.

Going by your pictures, the Philadelphia Zoo has changed a lot since the last time I was there (umm, about 20 years ago)!

Highland Cattle are really cool. I saw them for the first time in Scotland, about 16 years ago, but find they've become pretty popular around here since then. They sort of remind me of yaks.

I am headed to the zoo on my vacation......funny how excited adults get about going to the zoo!

Yes, those Highland cattle are amazing things, like big shaggy tanks -- it was so blessed cold in the Cairngorms when we were there, this icy wind cutting right through you -- but these enormous cows were just placidly going about their business! Gotta respect their tenacity.

Tricia, I haven't been to the zoo since I was in my teens...too many years ago to count! But they have made many changes over the years and added new sections.
