Actually, to me, it looks like ringworm. I'd keep her seperate from all your animals & kids. Wash hands, change clothes after touching her.

OK, that sounded rude. Yes, I agree that she looks to have been hurt by possibly being thrown from a car, but I also think I see some fungal infection going on there, too. Poor baby girl.

She was sittin on side of road though, thats what made me think either tossed from a car or animal got ahold of her!!

Poor little girl. Im glad you found her! First thing I thought was ringworm too. Or some other fungal infection. One of our foster homes has ringworm going threw it. Several of the kittens have patches like that on them.

I don't have any first hand experience with ringworm, but since it is a possibility I can only reinforce what others have said, keep her quarantined til you get her to a vet. Wash your hands thoroughly every time you have contact with her and
any other part of your body she might come in contact with. Like your neck when you cuddle her. She still needs your cuddles and love even if she has ringworm.

I hope she will get better soon for you.

DH and I found her on an old highway, that we were able to get to......

She was sopping wet!! And sooo scared.

And has these sores on her and a spot on top of her little head..

IMO, I think she was possibly thrown from a vehicle?

I also found an abandoned kitten. He was wet, muddy, shivering, hungry, and so, so sweet. His tail is curled like a corkscrew. So adorable!
