well last night my cat had 4 kittens. when we left to give her time alone with her kittens she had 1 more kitten. so now we have 5. When they are feeding thay turn her red. is that usual?

ok sorry it is her nipples but they go back to normal
oh well that is normal, think of a hickey, they are sucking on that skin so naturally it is going to get red.
I agree with Jen, it sounds like the normal changes for a nursing mother.
Watch for an angry red color that won't go away - that could be mastitis (infection of the breast).
