After hearing on here that my female cat Chloe, which I thought was pregnant, could have pyometra i took to the vet. Unfortunetly the infection had already spread a good amount and we lost her last night.
I am very devestated...and never thought that losing an animal would have such an effect on me. I had her for a little over 2 years. But I just wanted to say to all the people who gave me advice... Thank you. This is a wonderful site and I am glad to be apart of it.

Am so sorry for your loss (don't know that entire story) but pyrometria is very nasty stuff. That's one reason we urge people to spay those girls at a young age to avoid them going in and out of heat.

When the time comes to adopt a new friend, I'm sure you will spay/neuter them quickly.

I'm so sorry to hear I know it is so hard they are our babies You probable don't want to hear this right now I know I wouldn't but now chloe is at peace and not suffering. She will be your Angel and watch over you.
