I go to a fabulous pet food store called For Other Living Things. They're a wonderful pet store with the tag line "Critter, people and earth friendly."
I get the kitties Felidae dry food there since the 20lb bag is $7 cheaper than the local (chain) store, which I find interesting. They also have a buy 10 bags, get one free deal, so it makes sense for us to drive an extra 5 minutes to get the food from there.
Anyway, so I just went to get more food and on the wonderful Kerry's advice (the visiting TCS animal behaviourist) I got some dog chews and other chewy treats, mainly for Stumpy since she loves to chew non-edible things.
I also got a new catnip pillow since Stumpy has pretty much destroyed the last one.
The results:
Long, skinny chew treat: Stumpy ignored, but Smudge is having a great time licking and attacking it
Beef chews: Stumpy scoffed down hers, Smudge's and Lily's, then vomited them back up about 2 minutes later...
Catnip pillow: Stumpy who loves everything catnip completely ignored it, but Lily who doesn't care for catnip at all is rubbing against it, licking it, bunny kicking it, rolling on it and generally getting high off it.
They're so unpredictable.
