so, i've been hassling my boyfriend for a cat...he finally got me off his back by saying that at some point we'd go to the humane society and pick out an old one that needs a home. i had a particularly rough night last week and i don't know if anyone here is buddhist but i lit some incense and asked kuan yin (the goddess of mercy for some help). i went to sleep and a few hours later (my boyfriend works night shift and gets home at about five am) my boyfriend woke me up and pulled a little creature out of his jacket pocket. he works at a lumber mill and apparently he had heard something making a ruckus at the bottom of the oil pitt (about an eight foot drop). after investigating he found my new love who i affectionately named "kuan yin". took her to the vet to get checked out last week and they estimate she was about four weeks making her five weeks old now. she had some fleas and ear mites but otherwise checked out okay. here is my new bundle of joy..it's a girl!!!!
