Apoptygma Berzerk- In This Together
VNV Nation- The farthest star
Assemblage 23-Sorry, Madman's Dream

And I've had Sisters of Mercy: First & Last & Always in the car cd player most of the week. The result of some pretty dark moods. Off of that I love Black Planet, Marian, and Nine While Nine.

Least favourite Sisters album- I really like Logic but the rest sounds really dated- unlike Floodland

I love "Mad World"
Donnie Darko rules.
But I like the Tears for Fears version more.

I had to stop playing Floodland or Mike was going to throw himself from a moving vehicle.
I have that album memorized. I must have had Floodland in our old car for months on end. Poor Mike.
I do love that album.

I like A Slight Case of Overbombing because Temple of Love is on that one. That is my ALL TIME favorite SOM song.

I'm torn between Adrenochrome and Ribbons as my favourite Sisters song, both are really good live

I really hope to see Eldritch do another live gig as Sisters

You've seen them live???? I'm SO jealous!!!! Ribbons is an AWESOME song. I missed them when they toured the states last (I didn't have a way to get there
-they played Chicago). I managed to get a tour shirt from somewhere.

I really like their old stuff too (I have Some Girls Wander By Mistake). I have as many of their albums/singles as I could get my hands on.
Which isn't easy in the Midwest.

Now that I think of it, there are very few SOM songs I don't like.
Sadly all of my Sisters t-shirts are wearing out.

My BIL used to play guitar with their current guitarist but I guess he no longer has contact- apparently Eldritch has an album ready to go should he require it with the single being called Nuclear Bomb

A true fan can name Eldritch's cat

I'm always stuck on some song or another.

At the moment it's between
Kamelot - When the Lights Are Down -
and Kamelot - Love You to Death -
(no video, just the song)

And a few days ago it was thanks to a Hungarian friend getting it posting that link.

Heard a Brad Paisley song a couple of weeks ago about picking ticks off your sweetie. Ain't that romantic?

Hey, there are a few mentioned in this thread that I know! Woohoo! And "Mad World" is a heck of a song, whoever sings it (and it was perfect in Donnie Darko, too).

The song stuck in my head lately goes back a bit farther, though: "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash! We have one of those new "Jack" radio stations here, where they just play GOOD MUSIC, regardless of genre... and the other day, they came out of the Stones' "Satisfaction" and went right into "Folsom." I lit up like a Christmas tree!
