Double topic thread

Well i had two things to say, and i didn't know which title to put up lol.

First one. Why are people SO dumb??? Seeing WHiteCatLovers thread about Mita made me think about the idiots who don't believe my Cleo is blind. I mean apart from the fact her EYELIDS are stitched up...you tell someone who visits Tristans house and sees or, or someone at work "This is Cleo, she is blind, she has no EYES" oh...so she can't see at all??

I would rant a whole page on that subject..but i won't lol



the other is - i am SO in love with animals right now. I always love them, i've been finding a million pictures on the net to save of all different types of baby animals. WHen i move one day i want a rat, rabbit, baby dronkey (for the shrek fans lol), an anteater, a puppy and more. Of course a couple of those are out of the question

i've been appreciating out babies more and more, i treasure the time i get with Chuckie, he's been so much more attentive and vocal since his sister passed.

Anyone here ever just want to save all the animals you can and even though you know it's a dream and you don't have the money, your heart just bursts with love and pain when you see any kind of animals, that you wish you could give a new home, or wish you had a billion dollars to help all the shelters etc.


I'm in a funny mood atm. Just wanted to rave

I totally understand your need to fill your house with millions of baby animals! They are just so cute!

I think its in human nature to doubt what people say - And especially when it comes to animals - They just can't seem to get it through their heads that animals may have the same complaints as humans

Well when Tristan first told me that his mum just rescued a blind kitten..not that she had eye problems but that they actually had to surgically remover her dead eyes....i couldn't believe it and freaked out, but that was a little different.

In the future, DH and I hope to open our own rescue. We have 5 acres, so we have the room for a small one. We just have to get ourselves settled and..well..have the money. But, I know what you mean.

On the "Why are people so dumb" question, I can't help ya. Been puzzling over that one for years.

But oh yes, I completely understand about the desire to create a safe haven for abused, ill, injured, neglected, unwanted critters. I've imagined the place I would build in great detail... all I need is a whole great big honking lot of money!

Maybe the Universe will smile upon us both, and send us the wherewithal to make it happen -- yours in Australia, mine here in the States! Sister Shelters! Wouldn't that be the greatest?
