Damita Mae - My blind,

Since I needed a hug & she's the reason why, I spent some time with Mita tonight.

I love the different orange color on her back foot

She's good at a sexy strut

She wanders around with a crinkle ball in her mouth meowing loudly until she finds you, she actually fetches it! (imagine that, my blind cat fetches!)

She heard me, but couldn't find me

She heard the dog, so hunkered down to protect her toy(compliments of Pat)

Then I threw a toy, so she was trying to decide if she should chase it or play with the one she's got

Still not giving up that pillow!

Ready to finally pounce


Pardon the eye glow, I can never get that to go away. In the last one, you can see her dull green eyes.

She really does play with that pillow!

That is really amazing that she fetches and is blind!

She's very pretty. What is wrong with her if I may ask? You said she is the reason you need a hug.... so here are some hugs.

I don't know what's wrong. She's always sick & is again, as I expected. I've got a thread in the CL. I'm just freaking out.

Btw i don't know her story, but does Mita have cateracts or was born blind or other?

I don't know why she's blind either. Basically, Damita is a mystery. I've had 3+ vets tell me 3 different things for why she's blind. One told me that there was no way she could be blind after looking at her eyes! They are clear, etc. She just walks into things all the time, gets lost a lot, the vet I use now is 100% sure she is blind.

i love a cat that likes to play fetch. its great to watch.

She is such a beautiful girl!! I had a blind foster dog once that also loved playing fetch, people were amazed that he could.
