i just saw Cable playing with Firefox!
actually playing, using play posture, etc! i also saw Firefox using the cardboard scratcher
she's just doing great!

of course, my mom suggested today that, once she's well, i see about getting her adopted out... that would definitely be the practical thing, but she's so cute & sweet, i don't know if i could bring myself to do it...

That's great, she is being accepted by Cable...they will miss her if you adopt her out
yep, Cable's the queen, so it's a major milestone.

Pixel's having a herpes flare-up, but i found a better way to dose her - put the lysine powder in some chicken broth & squirted it down her. she didn't like it, but she preferred it to the maple-flavored gel i have. maple-flavored for cats? what were those people thinking?

well, the play has contined! Cable will chase Firefox, then Firefox will chase Cable - so cute! when Cable gets tired, she just jumps up somewhere high - poor lil Firefox baby can't jump up on the furniture yet!
Firefox has also learned how to climb the 'kitty gate' & can escape from the bathroom at her own whim! she's a very smart girl!

Moms definately don't know everything!
I'd keep her if you can afford to like Kenz said.

well, so far, she's cost me a bundle... & we haven't had shots or spaying yet. but she's so sweet! it's just that 5 is a lot for my small place. plus, i'm gonna need another litterbox, which pretty much means i'll have 3 in the bedroom closet, since i have nowhere else to put one.

That's great that they're playing together.
Definitely a good sign.

It sounds like you already have a lot invested in the little sweetie (financially and emotionally), so it seems to make sense to keep her. The rest will fall into place.

ok, heard a crash in the kitchen... went in, & the lid to the food container was on the floor, & cable was nosing around it, the scoop was on the floor... i chastized her mildly, then replace the scoop & screwed the lid on.

a bit later, i wondered where the kitten was - hadn't seen her in any of her usual places. called her, she didn't come [she has been]. so i went looking, calling, turning on lights, etc. i could hear her mewing, very faintly, so i figured she was stuck somewhere. i'm sure you've all figured out where...

yep, she was INSIDE the food container!
i unscrewed the lid, took her out, screwed it back on - & she tried desperately to get back in! mind you, there's kibble out, there's wet food out - who can understand the minds of cats?

It's amazing what kind of trouble a kitten can get into!

I'm sure your crew would love a new forever sibling

She is such a little character! Silly girl, getting locked in the kibble bin.
That is Mojo's DREAM right there, the little piggy!

Laureen, that is fantastic that Cable is playing with her. It sounds adorable too.
