This is odd

Last week I received a letter from the financial aid department where I attend school. This letter stated that because I am going to be less then 1/2 time this fall I cannot receive financial aid.

Then today I received a packet for financial aid The packet states how much I'm eligible for and requests an accepts or rejects letter.

I'm going to send it back anyway to see if I still get any money (I've already applied for a continuing ed loan through my bank, so I'm not reliant on the stafford stuff).

I'm curious now to see if I get another letter saying that I should've read my first letter
