Are you prepared to take her to the vet if there are any complications during the birth? You need to be able to take her right away if anything goes wrong. Even if you just wait until the next morning it can be fatal to both mom and babies.

You need to be able to know when something is wrong to take her to the vet right away. Keep us posted.

Oh yeah, after she has her babies, we are expecting pictures.

That reminds me, did you look to see if your cats discharge is like a green-ish color and foul smelling?

If you notice discharge with a foul smell you will need to take her to the vet as soon as possible. Also it will be a good idea to get her to a vet before she gives birth to the kittens since she was an outside cat. If you can't then just keep a good eye on her.

Also, is your other cat neutered?

Wow. Two people in the same thread and both are having kittens and both are from West Virginia. What are the chances?

Declawing is really frowned upon. Most people here do not agree with it. It is cruel to the cat and can cause emotional and physical issues later in life.

Another person posted in this thread posted that her cat had kittens because she thought it was a thread she created.

I just thought it was interesting that you and her were both from West Virginia.
