I would like to thank everyone for their thought and prayers.

Duke fell sick on Sunday June 24 and passed away Thursday June 28 at 2:23 am. His liver was failing his lungs were filling with fluid and his breathing was very labored. He stopped struggling to breath in my arms on my bed and with my mother and I petting him and Sibohan looking on. He was not in pain for long but the pain for my family is immense.
We buried Duke at the place he loved the best, My parents backyard. Where he is able to watch all the birds chirp at all the squirls and chipmunks he wants to and play with Sam(cat), Storm(dog) and Buffy(dog).
Sibohan has been looking for him all morning and is beside herself running from room to room looking for him. I'm looking for him too... it seems so unreal. He got sick overnight (he was fine on Saturday) and now he's gone. Duke was 5 and a half years old.

So sorry to read this.

Many good times at the bridge for you, Duke. Say hey to my RB kitties, they'll share a nip mouse with you.

So, so sorry to hear this.

Play happily over the Bridge, sweet fella, and remember to hold your family tight while they try to get used to you not being physically with them. You'll never leave them, but it does take a while to grasp and hold onto that.

RIP sweet Duke

I'm so sorry

Duke was far to young to leave for his journey across Rainbow Bridge, but he'll be well loved and cared for by all his new friends that are waiting to take him to his new home

Run fast across the bridge Duke, but keep looking down on those who loved you so much because their hearts are breaking right now
