Hey to all you vitamin takers out there! Ive been taking this great vitamin and thought i'd like to share it! Its a multivitamin in the form of a chocolate chew! Its by Viactiv, (for women by women). Its really convinient because all you do is chew it, I like this alot because I cant swallow medium-large pills, and if it wernt for this I wouldnt be taking vitamins at all! Just though id recommend it

^^^ Man thats insanity! all pills? I'd die!
I'd never auctually choose to take more than 1 vitamin a day, I wouldnt even take any, but the chews I take are really easy and convinient.

Do you have to take all of those FOREVER?

only if i want to stay healthy! they are spread out, tho - i take pills 5 different times a day... i have 5 pill containers. i also have some prescription meds, too, but i left them out of the 'countdown'!

someday, you may have to - as we get older, we usually have to take stuff we didn't when we were younger... sad fact of life!

ETA: after all, i AM 30 years older than you!

I take a Centrum Multivitamin daily. Also, for the past 6 months I was taking a prescription dose of 50,000iu of Vitamin D twice a week because my vitamin D level was almost completely depleted. My doctor told me that now I have to take 1,000iu of Vitamin D everyday for the rest of my life. I also take an Iron supplement a few times per week.

Yup - I take a daily "One A Day:. I've tried some of the others, but they don't seem to be as effective............and unlike Jan, I'm not a chocoholic (don't even care for the stuff)!

I drink 1oz of all natural liquid multi-vitamin daily, and 1oz of all natural liquid mineral.
I also take a daily megadose of calicium, a daily dose of iron, and an herbal enzyme to help with my digestive issues.

I used to be a distributor for the stuff I take, but they made their prices far too outrageous.
I only have about 3 months' worth left

I take the Viactiv multivitams too. They're actually the only ones that work with my body...other name brand vitamins didn't. I would get sick all the time and not feel well in general.

Last week I forgot to pick up a new box and by the end of the week I could really feel it: I felt down and sick. I still feel a little sick, but feel mentally bettrer.

I take plain vitamins too when I can remember. I once took an Alive supplement multi-vitamin from the Health Food Store. I guess it had too many things in it, it made me so sick.

Growing up I made fun of my mother because she had a ton of vitamins and supplements that she kept in a gigantic basket with a handle. (Think picnic basket) Every morning she'd make her tea, lug the basket out of the cabinet and take her daily vitamins. Man I ripped on her for YEARS about that....

..... guess who has her own basket now

I take womens one a day vitamins..

I have heard that the ones you chew aren't absorbed as good into the body, so I stopped taking that kind
I could be wrong though

I take acidophilus ('good' bacteria, the kind found in yogurt) to balance out stuff... I noticed when I stopped taking it for a few weeks I started getting a pimple or two and normally I have clear skin. Acidophilus helps greatly for that!

I also take B6 vitamins, supposedly to help curb the side effects of hormonal birth control. I guess it works, I've not flown into a rage lately.
