Im freakin out something is wrong with my ear... Dont look if you are easily grossed!

Its not puss that i can pull off, it is a solid and soft bump that is pussy colored, it is slightly soft to the touch. I tried scrubbing it off a little last night, to see if it was a puss buildup, and nothing came off. Im sure there is puss inside but I dont want to try popping it, Ill let the doctor do it for sanitary reasons. It is really ugly and nasty looking, it isnt slimy either. I showed my mom and she said it is weird and she has never seen such a thing. It doesnt smell lol I just had my mom take a big wiff of it... Gotta love moms and the stuff they will do for you

could it be a reaction to a bug bite that you cant see due to this bump? man i hope the doc helps ya out!

Im thinking it is a bug bite eww or possibly a bug is inbedded in my ear and surrounded by a puss ball. I will dye if there is a bug in there, i dont think I can handle it... Well Im off... Ill tell you guys what is up when I get back!

Looks like a bug bite to me too. It may just look more knarley because of where it is, there is no 'fat' there.

I vote for bite. Definately when you have something like that you don't want to "pop" it yourself, it could spread the infection internally. Hopefully the doctor will be able to help you.

Ok guys the verdict is in... It was a cyst???? Crazy she has no idea what the cause was except assumes that my ear recieved some trauma, when she went to swab it with a q-tip it popped, she said it isnt infected, put peroxide and ointment on it. I didnt even feel it pop, she said that if my ear remains red or gets more red to call her and get oral antibiotics. She didnt seem concerned with my keloid at the piercing site of the ear, so that infection had nothing to do with that nasty thing I posted... It still looks gross but at least it is popped. At least there wasnt a bug in there!

Wow-a cyst huh? I didnt know you could even get cyst there?


But hopefully now your pain will go away.

Yeah I know it looked nothing like a cyst in my opinion... It is a mystery how I got it. If it gets worse than I will take oral antibiotics... Its been oozing and stuff... Ewww how nasty... I feel dirty. Im glad I got it out of the way because now I can focus on my moms surgery later today.

Wow, how weird!!!! Glad it was a cyst, and nothing worse, and you obviously got to it early before it did get too infected and even more gross!

Whoa thats weird. I mean, not that I doubt your doctor... but in my mind I always thought cysts were harder... like they wouldn't pop that easily. I would have never guessed that outcome in a million years.

Glad it all worked out well! And
for you and your mom. Hope everything goes well with her surgery.

Thanks guys... I couldnt believe it was a cyst either. For some reason I thought cysts were hard and skin colored not freakin green and boogery. Thanks my mom is going to do just fine, has a golf ball sized cyst on her ovary so they are removing at least one of her ovaries if not both and scraping her insides to get a bunch of non-cancerous polyps they found. She is really calm about it and this is the first time she will ever go under.

I will keep her in my prayers and send vibes her way. I am glad they are doing the surgery as those type of things can turn cancerous.
