We adopted Miss Mia about a month and and a half ago. We were told she was between 6 months to a year. She has seriously almost doubled in size since we got her. She went from being slightly larger than our smallest (very tiny and kitten sized) to being larger than our largest cat (not huge but pretty big size.) in a little over a month, and she's showing no sign of slowing down. I personally think this is awesome and am looking forward to having a horse sized cat. (lol) But honestly, is she part Maine Coone and how much bigger do you think? These are from about two weeks ago, and she's grown a good bit since then.

Hopefully these posts are allowed. Anywayz, there you goes. Let me know what you think please.

I'm not seeing it, but anything is possible.
She certainly is beautiful though

Wait and see if she turns into a fluff monster come winter

Maine Coons came from the domestic population and they are the second most popular breed. So it is possible. But imo she does not look like the Maine Coons I see at shows.

She might be part maine coon - they go thru a lot of coat changes growing up. How old is she? If under a year, she doesn't have her full coat in yet.

MC's can take 3-4 yrs to be fully grown. The females are on the smaller side - maybe 10-12 lbs at the most. Males can go 15-18 lbs.
