Help! I deleted my attachment from 'user cp'

because i wanted to post a new pic, ( i didn't want to take up all of my alloted space), I didn't realize it would delete from a previous post.
I couldn't find where i read about this before; I am allowed to post pictures as attachments versus going thru a photo sharing website. How are some of you able to post pics not as attachments without having a link to another website? Does this make any sense??

The vast majority of members posting photos and signatures use an image hosting site, such as www.photoshop.com, www.flickr.com or www.imageshack.com. Free accounts are available, so there's really no reason not to use them. This thread: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14474 explains how to post pictures.

I think I'll try one of those websites.
( I thought i was pretty computer savvy)
