We've been going through a trying time with the introduction of our new kitten Skippy, to our existing (6 mos old) kitten Boog. Boog tried to eat Skip for three days straight, and then on Sunday, he decided that he likes him.
Still, it was like Boog's normal personality was gone. He didn't want to be held, played with, or loved up. He never purred at all anymore. He just wanted to know where the kitten was at, and what the kitten was doing. I was beginning to be worried that we'd changed our sweet boy for good.
This morning though, when the alarm went off, my Boogie Boy climbed up on my chest, rubbed on my face and purred with love. Later in the morning, we played a nice game of fetch while the Kittenface looked on.
My baby is back!
Disclaimer: I just realized that I used a bunch of nicknames for my two cats in one post. Sorry for the confusion.
Pogue = Boog, Boogie, Buggaboo, and PoePoe
Skippyjon Jones = Skip, Skippy, Skipperdoodle, and Kittenface
