Well Mickey is now ay least 3-4 weeks old now. He sleeps less than he did when we first got him and he loves to walk around and explore. He even runs now!! He also plays with toys for a little bit, and imitates our 10 month old kitten washing!! He washes his face and paws just fine but he is so round he has trouble when he tries to wash his rump. I have pictures i just took yesterday, I couldn't find him but with futher investigation I found him asleep in the recliner!! He climbed up himself!!
So I am gonna try to post them. Please bear with me!

Yes they are! I tried to give him some moist cat food, he showed some interest, tasted it and looked at me like " what the heck are you trying to feed me!" Is your cat an orphan??

aww little Mickey sounds such a treasure
you are doing great with him, he's such a young one to be away from his mom, but with all that TLC he's getting I am sure he's gonna be just fine

Keep us posted -looking forward to those photos

Hi!! Well today I gave Mickey his formula with a bit of chicken baby food mixed in. I t ried to give it to him on a small plate and he wouldn't touch it. He walked in it!! But he took it right down in the bottle! So maybe when he gets used to the taste... I don't know. I have been on vacation from work all week so I have had time to work with him. Starting Friday he will be alone about 9 hours a day 4-5 days a week. I am getting my daughters old room ready for him to free roam in. ( She is at college) I plan to leave a bit of kitten chow and a litter pan make from a cake pan. Should I leave a small dish of water for him just to see if he will drink it? I have thought of putting a bit of water in his bottle just to see if he will take it. (Just a small amount so he won't choke.)

Oh look at me rambling on!!! Oh well feel free to ramble to me too!!!

Ok here I go again!! Byt i am so excited over what Mickey did today!

He went in the litter box!! After he ate I took him to his special litter box and held him over it while he tinkled. then I took his paw and showed him how to cover it up. I let him roam and a few minutes later I heard scratching and looked he had pooed and was covering it up!!! Kitten was right beside him making little noises of approval just like his mommy would!!
