Photo contest???

I was wondering if we ever have photo contests on this forum? I know that I've been a member for a long time, but I mainly just pop in to read new threads, answer a couple, and then pop out. I've never actually thouroghly searched the forum.

Anyways, I was just wondering if there are any photo contests. If not, we should start one.

There was a holiday photo contest this past winter, but that's the only one I remember.

Thanks for the link! I looked into it and noticed that it didn't say what the prize is

Is there a prize? I don't want to enter a photo if it's just going to be taken and used by someone else and I get no benefit for it. I know that sounds selfish, but hey, it's MY pic, right? lol.

I dont think there is a prize on that one. I submitted my photo to that contest a few months ago & its still not up yet. It takes awhile for sure.

I don't think there is a prize, but if you started a photo competition on TCS there wouldn't be a prize either (unless you wanted to do something for points and then the members have the points themselves to start them)

I am not sure if you looked but we do have a photography thread on here that hasn't been posted on in a while. There are a lot of talented photographers here! You should take a look! I would love to see more added to it if you have any! I actually love ahything to do with photography and was trying to think of a new thing to do on the thread like have themed photos that we can all post of different things or a contest or something. I would love to keep that thread going.
