You Know Your Getting Old When

I guess most of us have heard on of those You Know Your getting old lines.

My favorite is You know your getting old when it feels like the morning after, and there wasn't even a night before.
Anyone else have any you know your getting old pearls of wisdom to bestow upon us.

you know your getting old when a night of drinking with your friends used to be killing a keg. now its a few drinks, and everyone bows out before 2 am. SIGH.lol

You know your getting old when all you want to do is put your jammies and slippers on and cosy up with the kitts on the sofa

You know you're getting old when you say things like, "Remember when ..." or "When I was young ..."

When you get up and go into another room, and upon arriving in that room, you forget what it was you went into that room for.

That happensto me all the time, but its just because I'm being forgettful I hope, not that i'm getting old

I thought of another one, this is something I do all the time..

Spend an hour looking for the kettle, only to find you put it in the fridge.

I have done this so often that now if I don't see it on the stove I automatically look in the fridge..

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I do that!

When you make a groaning noise every time you stand up from sitting.

When the things you grew up with are now called "classic."

When you realize that kids getting their drivers licence were born in 1991!

I still can't beleive that...I still feel like people born in 1982 are SO young...but really they are my age

Your great niece is old enough to get her driver's license.

OMG, I'm always saying to my daughter 'back when i was a kid we'd blah blah blahhhhh!
I can almost see her rolling her eyes, or even thinking 'yeah right!'.

You know you're getting old when you put the milk into the pantry, and the cereal into the refridgerator.

Sadly enough I did this when I was only 21. It has only gotten worse from there! I've never misplaced my child or my house or my cats.

I just can't be trusted to make a bowl of cereal when I haven't had coffee yet.

When the toys you played with as a kid have become collectors items or have been re-relased.

when the tv is loud and the music is soft.

when pj's have become comfortable and no longer sexy.

When you judge how good a day is by the number of poping sounds your hear as you are getting out of bed.

When a night out consitutes of bingo and a buffet.

I have more but I dont want to be a post hog

I've heard myself say "They don't make music like they used to!"

My mum said that to me when i was a teenager
