My baby had the hiccups today!!!!

I think so anyway...

He was kicking away as per usual, but it wasn't a solid kick in one spot, it was more like a jumping. Then I realised it was fairly regular as well - every few seconds, I'd feel the same jump. Then it hit me that it must have been hiccups! I've heard the baby can get the hiccups in the womb, but to actually feel it was so cool!!!

He's such an active little boy - always moving about and doing somersaults and doing freestyle (or something similar!!!). It's definitely the best part about pregnancy

that's weird, i thought you need an intake of air to get hiccups?

That is such an awesome feeling!! When I was pregnant with my son, he got hiccups just about every day(after lunch). I loved it!! Thought it felt sooo cool!!

I've got no idea what causes it, but it's apparently common and so funny!

It's it weird? When I was a surrogate, the baby boy would go into hiccuping sessions at least 3 times a day! The doctors suggested (jokingly) that he would have strong lungs when he came out and he did!

Aw, I remember that happening! After they are born, they get them too, and it doesn't hurt them (like hiccups can hurt sometimes). Thanks for the sweet memory.

I remember those days. that was so cool and cute to see and feel.

Ari got hickups all the time before she was born. She had them alot after she was born too at least a couple times a day. She hasnt gotten themm for awhile though. Which is nice since last time they made her very mad.
