How many of you have sent gifts to the "wrong" member?

I don`t think I have! Most people say 'Thanks' so I know I got the right person

Nope, I haven't messed up (yet)!
I don't think I have done that, but I have started to give a gift and then doubted myself if I had the name right! Usually then I'll just go back to whatever thread gave me the idea and jot down their username. Some people I remember better by their names or something else than their usernames.

I haven't given a gift to the wrong member- but I've donated a large amount of points to a member who hasn't been active since like 2002
Luckily, Ryan was very nice as to give my points back to me so I could donate them to the right person
I felt like a complete idiot!
Well, I came in here hoping to find that I wasn't the only one -- but apparently I am: one time I was trying to give a Flying V to someone else, and instead, I managed to give it to MYSELF.

I received some PMs meant for SalemWitchChild when she gave her points away a couple of months ago... It's pretty confusing sometimes, I think.
I don't have many points so I'm very careful. Anyone I've given gifts to I've been certain it was the correct recipient.

I probably have, I am still learning about the bank and points and stuff. It is so sweet when someone sends a gift. I have recieved some that were completely unexpected, and it just made my day.
