Can I Do A Poll Without Comments?

I have a guestion and am curious to see the numbers without it turning into a debate. Is it possible to post only a poll?

I don't think it is, if a mod locked it I don't think you can still vote.

I guess just don't read the comments (and without them the poll would quickly reach the bottom of the page)

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant can I start a thread where people can only vote, and cannot post comments. I was wondering if most people have cats that are outdoor only, indoor only, indoor-outdoor, or some combination. I don't really see a reason to re-hash the issue if you know what I mean.

But I don't think it is possible, unless you just ask people not to comment, but it would still be up to them on whether they reply or not
