I just came back from a healthy pet food event at a local mall. The Pet Pantry was one of the reps there. They are a home delivery service and have a line of their own food. I asked the guy who makes their food, but he "couldn't remember" the name of the company. He said it was on their web site, but I haven't come across it yet. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with their food and what you think of it. I ordered a sample of the holistic Life Chicken Meal and Brown Rice, but I'm not sure how I feel about feeding it to my cats. Here are the ingredients.

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS

Crude Protein (minimum................................34%

Magnesium (maximum)..................................0.095%
Calcium (minimum..........................................9%
Phosphorus (minimum...................................7%
Taurine (minimum..........................................7%

INGREDIENTS Place Order

Chicken Meal, Ground Brown Rice, Chicken Fat (preserved with Natural Mixed Tocopherals, Citric Acid, and Rosemary Extract), Dried Potato, Corn Gluten Meal, Menhaden Fish Meal, Chicken, Ground Oats, Dried Beet Pulp, Brewers Dried Yeast, Tomato Pomace, Flaxseed, Natural Flavor, Dried Egg Product, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Menhaden Oil, Taurine, Dried Chicory Extract/Inulin, Dried Cranberry, Vitamin A Acetate, d-Activated Animal Sterol (source of Vitamin D-3), Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Choline Chloride, Menadione Dimethylpyrimidinal Bisulfate, Calcium Pantothenate, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Biotin, Ascorbic Acid, dl-Methionine, Inositol, Chelated Complexes of Zinc, Iron, Manganese, Copper and Cobalt, Calcium Iodated, Sodium Selenate, Calcium Carbonate, and Yucca Schidigera Extract.

They also carry Zuke's Natural Cat treats, Evangers, litter - Swheat Scoop and Feline Pine, so I'm going to see if it's cost effective to order some of this stuff from them. They don't charge delivery fees.

Thank you Sharky! I don't intend to feed it to them as their dry food, because I'm happy with the combo of Cal Natural and Orijen, but I thought if they liked it maybe for treats. I'll have to give it some thought.
