I seriously can't find the brat trio....they've got to be in my bedroom somewhere, I locked the door when I left this morning & no one else has a key to get in. But, I look & look & I can't find them!

I'm not worried, just kinda confused. I put out wet food, we'll see if their noses bring them out! This isn't the first time I've "lost" them in my room....they are very sneaky & do not like to be touched still.

Its amazing how kittens can hide so easily. The first time I trusted them enough to let Butch and Sundance out to play I lost Sundance for 3 hours. Found him curled up in a tiny space behind my couch. I hope you find them soon!

Places in my house i've found "lost kittens:

Under the stove
(yea! that was a suprise
Colin's since put a piece of wood under that part so they can't climb up and into the bottom

Under the refridgerator (colin's fixed that now too!)

Under the washer/dryer (colin's fixed that too
)

In the bathtub

In the dog bed

in the entertainment center

under the furniture

In between the cushions on the sofa

Behind furniture

In the bathroom cabinets (don't ask! they figured out how to open the door to get in- but not how to get out
)

And the one that takes the cake:

Behind the washer at my mom's house (in the kitchen) COVERED in molassas (apparently a bottle had fallen behind there during thanksgiving time several years ago that we didn't know about and they got all into it- they were COVERED head to toe in molassas and looked like little indian kitties with war paint on
it took FOREVER to get it out of their fur

I got thinking...I checked in my pillow case, took all my blankets off the bed, checked the closet even though the doors have baby locks on them, checked under & in dressers, in their cage, in every corner I could think of, under my bed, behind the bean bag chair....they're nowhere to be found!

Now I'm wondering....if I were a 6 week old kitten who's nauthy & scared, where would I hide?
I just realized I've been outsmarted by 6 week old kittens!

Dresser drawers? They can climb in from crawling under the dresser and into the drawer from behind.

Corners of closets behind things

What about inside the box spring of the bed? Maybe there is a tear in the mesh underneath and they climbed up inside?

Did the kittens turn up yet? They will get hungry eventually and come out from wherever they are hiding.
We lost Pearl during our last move, and my SO. bless his heart, was freaking out. He had moved the dryer and was afraid that she had gone down the hole, under the house and gotten lost. He was so upset, he is convinced that she is totally incapable of caring for herself, and would be too frightened to cry out to him to find her. He had put on his coveralls and braved the spider infested under the house twice. He had checked everywhere, or so he thought. Pearl had climbed into a little used kitchen cabinet, and he didn't think to look for her there. I have never seen a man so relieved.

It's amazing how kittens can find the most unusual places to hide.
If they haven't shown up yet, I hope they do soon!

Over the river and through the woods...

I was going to suggest that. When Harley and Monster were little they tore open a hole in the box springs and hide in there for hours! Actually, Harley continued to hide there until he was too big to fit! I also had a kitten that ripped the underside of my old couch and hide in the springs there. Good luck. Let us know when (and where) you found them.
