My siames now has spots - why?

I have a 9 year old female Thai (traditional) siamese. She has always had beautiful dark coloring of her fur. Within the last few months there has been spotting in the coloring of her fur all over her body especially in the lighter portions (back, sides, belly). Is this normal? I'm concerned something is wrong with her. Please help

Do you have a photo we could see of her? Siamese tend to darken over time. if we could see a photo we may be able to help more
