Ugh. I'm totally scared to try them. I was wanting to use Nutro and Natural Life as core, but I'm a little afraid... But I'm sure they tested this recipe over and over and over after such a scare. Still...

Sharky... in the meantime since I am running low on Nutro canned, what wet food would you recommend that's in the same price range of equal quality? Roxie really likes the Nutro... I'm nervous she will turn her nose up for something else... the only other wet food she has had was friskies and fancy feast but I would like to keep giving her a premium brand until I can get my hands on more Nutro.

Thanks in advance!!

I feed mainly nutro canned too (max and nat. choice)...I've also been feeding authority (petsmart brand) and it seems to be pretty equivilent to nutro max...same as nutro max/nat. choice in terms of texutre (pate/loaf style). Not as great a range of flavors, but same price (or a little less) than max per can (~65 cents per 6oz can).

You might want to look into Proplan - either the regular Proplan flavours or the Proplan Selects. My cats enjoy virtually all of them and none of their products have been implicated in any of the recalls. They are available at PetSmart and at PetCo.

Some Natural choice and max come in that size but many retailers dont carry them

i know a few have added some Purina but since they are only PRINTED in the USA I suspect most of the cans are made in China ... just an FYI

my munchkins are happy with the Meow Mix Market Selects while we wait, i like them cause you just pull of the lid and dump into the plate, already juicy and ready to go.
