This is kind of happening as I type.
My cat (4 months old) was out all night, not like him at all, and I went to look for him.
I found his collar in the road, and my other cat came dashing out, towards a bush.
My kitten came out of the darkness towards my cat, looking very upset.
He has a smashed face, and is on my lap right now, wrapped in my tshirt, and I don't know what to do.
He is breathing OK, and is not swelling around the stomach, so no internal injuries as I can tell.
Damn I feel alone right now, I am going to stay up with him until 8AM when the vet opens.
this sucks.
I joined this forum just to tell anyone that this is happening

Oh, I hope your kitten is OK. That is so scary for both of you. What time did this happen? It sounds like early morning from what you say.

Yes, do take him to the vet as soon as possible. Does it seem to hurt him anywhere when you touch him? Is he able to walk without limping or signs of pain?

Good luck and hugs to both of you. Let us know what happens after you take him to the vet.

Thanks guys.
As stupid as it may seem, I got the little guy settled and just did a google search for help.
He is still on my lap, pretty chilled, breathing OK, no discomfort to signal internal bleeding.
If anything, he is being very very 'clingy' he won't let go of my arm.
I took a pic of his face, not sure if I can post it?

Here =D
(You are faaaaarrrr away from me, it's 9:07 pm here!!!)
Poor baby... I hope you can get him to a good vet very soon. His face isn't as bad as I suspected... It looks like he may have some trouble with his eye-sight, or it may just be irritated by debris or bruising. The pus is a good sign, it's cleaning out the infection. The chin wound doesn't look too terrible, maybe just some minor damage to the chin... Still, it probably hurts! It's an excellent sign that he is breathing okay, there is no swelling, no limping... Has he used the litterbox yet? Has he tried to eat? Please do keep us updated! Oh, and it's good he is napping... Keep him in plain sight, to regulate his breathing!

Kuntry, he seems OK (ish) - his jaw is hanging down, not sure if it is broken, but I suspect not.
It's time for you to meet Rufus, who was killed at the same corner about 8 months ago:

Maybe this is part of why I am so freaked out.
That guy rocked

Anyway, back to the situation, he seems to be asleep, but I will stay with him until morning.
I hope this ends well, thank you so much for your support everyone!

Sorry, as for him eating / using the litter tray, no to both, but at this time I think that is normal (4.18AM) ?

I know that in the UK it's normal to have indoor/outdoor cats, but I think it might be too dangerous in your area. Is there anyway you could keep your cats indoors from now on? I would hate for another one to be hurt because of a car or worse.

Devlyn, thank you for your concern, however where I lve is next to a canal, and a quiet road, this is just a case of serious bad luck

Again, thanks for caring

A.J. is still sleeping, he seems quite calm...
You guys rock, thanks so much!
