Last night I got a pic of sad Nakita with the collar on from her spaying. She's getting her stitches out on Saturday and then she will be one very happy cat.

It's interesting to see how the Russian Blue breeds are different depending on where they are located. If you notice the pics from Bundylee, Manomi, or purringpanther their cats have a larger body and a more structured face than North American Russian Blue's.

Just an interesting observation!

Poor little fur baby! Even with that collar on she is still beautiful! It must be such a pain wearing that thing!

Poor little girl! Just keep telling her it will be over soon (bribe her with tuna if you have to!)

None of my animals have ever had the pleasure of an E-collar. It's kinda sad cause I always wanted to make fun of them.

Have you guys heard of the bite-not collars? They make them for dogs and cats and are far superior in my opinion to the e-collar. Here's the link: www.bitenot.com We found out about them just recently when we had Bella spayed and our vet sent her home in one.

Nakita looks so adorable though, even with her sad face. I love the coloring, I've never seen one in person before. Beautiful!

I had never heard of them before! Actually, I know the reason that Nakita would have still needed the e-collar. I have to give her an eye cream and if she could get at her face, she would have rubbed her eyes trying to get it out. So in my case it was e-collar all the way.

Thanks, I'm going to bookmark the website though. Great alternative!

Poor Nakita. She is SOOOO beautiful though. I feel so lucky that none of our females needed to wear a collar after being spayed. It must break your heart to watch her with that thing on. Poor little girl! Hugs to both of you,

Laurie
