gettig a third cat make everything work perfect?

My calico girl use to beat the crap out of my older cat male cat who was extremly gentle. She would constantly take cheap shots at him always hissing etc..


Last summer after we got a 3rd rescued cat she totally changed. She became so much friendly and now she never raises a paw to my old cat all 3 cats get along so amazing its so hard to believe. Anyone think adding a third cat is what made things so great around here ?

Sounds like it to me! Your girl was a bit dominant and probably bullying the older kitty. When the third came in, it was just the right balance. Cheers to you for your rescue!

This is encouraging because i'm bringing home a 10 week old boy next weekend


Luckily my two girls get along brilliantly anyway, so if it stays like that when Jack comes i'll be more than happy

Perhaps it distributed the attention in a more diverse manner. It certainly sounds possible. And from what you are saying, IT DID!
