I love a bargain!

I just bought a desk from a used furniture store. It's solid pine and has three big drawers on the right and one big shallow drawer under the desktop (not a computer tray - I didn't want that - we are laptop people ). It's for our daughter (and will match her new loft) and she doesn't know about it yet because she's in school but she will love it!

It was only $90 including tax and delivery, and they are bringing it tonight. We were looking at new pine desks that were smaller with only one drawer and they were $250, and you'd have to buy a hutch on the top for storage (another $150). So this was a real deal!

I can't wait for our daughter to see it, she's always writing and doing crafts and she will be thrilled! I love bargains!

Now if I could just find a good deal on a Dyson...

I love bargains! Woo Hoo!

I am a big bargain hunter as well. A few months ago I found the greatest little telephone desk from the 30's at the local secondhand shop.
It had a couple of loose brackets, and the brasses need to be replaced so I got it for $40. I have since did the repairs, polished it up and use it for my computer desk and it is great. Just the right size for my laptop and even has a cute little side shelf for my printer.

Don't give up on the Dyson... I got mine for about $250... the deals are out there, promise
