The "Flippin" Fleas Have Finally Fled...But Actually Are Dead, Dead, Dead!!!!

Thanks once again to everyone who helped me through the horrific flea problem I had with my 16 babies.

Ordered Borax online (couldn't find it anywhere here) and Advantage for big dogs. Spread Borax all over.....and CAREFULLY administered the Advantage with syringe to my babies. That was Wednesday evening.....today...not ONE flea on any of the babies....and none on the dog (Bichon Frishe)....and it was so unbelievable to watch the babies sleep all day and no scratching. Even the redness on some of their necks, from scratching, has already started to heal!!!

Yes...and I do thank you for everything. I tried to send you a personal message but your "mailbox" was full.

However.....with each good thing....I always have to take a step back....and don't understand why.

My P.J. has URI again....and this is the third time in the last 2 months....back to the vet we go.....more $$$.....but that's life, eh?

Once again....thanks.....and....I realized that I have to keep McDuff (my Bijon) free of fleas at all times...b/c he goes out (of course...he is a dog)...and brings the fleas in.

That's fantastic you solved yoour flea issue! Pesky little bugs! We use 7-Dust on our cowdogs, and also sprinkle that around their pens, it works wonders! We use Adams on Tucker, my indoor/outdoor Beagle, and on Zoey we use Frontline Plus. I hate them pests; it's terrible keeping up with them, we're constantly fighting! I do hope everything goes well, and that poor P.J gets rid of his URI's once and for all!

Thanks again, everyone.....but now...please....Prayers for my little P.J.....I keep asking God to give me a break with all these babies....but....guess that is not an option...they are all old...and I have to accept that!


Hey...I just need time and $$ to get MY teeth fixed.

Send me vibes, please...it just gets hard at times...b/c these babies keep living and living and living (and I want them to)...but....it just gets hard.

I will stop feeling sorry for myself now....and go to bed....b/c have to get up early....vet on Saturday closes at noon.

What a relieve…. You and your fur babies must be ecstatic and feeling tons better. I glad you found a solution. Hopefully you’ll continue to have success with this method. And did you use laundry Borax?

Yes...I used laundry Borax....I had used it years ago....but never had a problem like this. When I tried to find it (laundry Borax)....I could not find it ANYWHERE.....I guess my grandmother's grandmother used it....that's how far it goes back.

And, these days, with all the new fangled detergents on the shelf....stores just don't carry it. I looked everywhere.

I finally ordered it online through Drugstore.com.
