Ginger is DEFINITELY the Alpha.

Every morning before I leave the house for work, I give the kits treats.

This morning, they all three gathered around me, Ginger to my left, Ferris in front of me to the right, and Penny wound her way behind me, coming up just next to me on my left.

Penny has been a little less nice to Ferris since he got home last night, hissing at him and staying away from him.

Well, Penny snuck around me as I was handing out the treats, then hissed pretty viciously at Ferris. Ginger then immediately screamed and smacked Penny a good one on the top of her head. Penny and Ferris both ran away, startled, and Ginger stayed in place, calmly finishing the treats she had been given.

I was so proud of Ginger, sticking up for her little brother like that!

I can just imaging the conversation that went on with them later! Go Ginger for sticking up for her little bro!
