And to the vet I go, a day early. When I first made the appointment, there was nothing wrong. Yesterday, however, I noticed that Trina had used a towel that was on the floor instead of her litter box. I figured maybe she was mimicing what Toby used to do at my other house(or that she just didn't like the new cat litter), but would get her tested for things tomorrow just in case.

But just now, I was up all night with my boyfriend, and when I went to go to bed, I discovered she'd gone all over my bed. Trina has NEVER had a problem with going ANYWHERE but her litter box(it's clean, and gets cleaned every day). I'm super worried. I don't think it's a behavioral thing--like I said, she's never had a problem.

I think she probably has a UTI of sorts, we'll see. =(

Best of luck at the vets. I just went through this with my boy, Pipsqueek. The vet will examine her, try to express some urine from her bladder manually, and do a urinalysis. Here's hoping for a UTI.

If she needs to be pilled, there are "Pill Pockets" at the pet supply store. You just put the pill in the hole and feed the treat to your kitty. Really easy!

Well, I took her to the vet. She was very healthy--vet couldn't palpate any kittens, but that's really no surprise since it's a few days before it's recommended to do so. Her urine looked fine and she wasn't straining, but they're doing some tests to make sure. Hopefully she just had a momentary lapse of issues! Going to change her litter to the old stuff, so hopefully that will help. Anyway, I'm glad that so far she's okay!
