Hermanus - South Africa

You must go to a restaurant called Beintangs Cave.

It is a restaurant that is really in a cave on the side of the ocean. During the summer thousands of people flock to Hermanus to whale watch and this is the best place to do it as it is right on the ocean, and they serve the best seafood. You have to climb down about 50 steps to get to it and it has the original rock floor and no windows as it is open air.

So which place would you recommend.

Are you looking for restaurants or any tourist attraction?

Yes I am originally from South Africa and I thought it would be nice to hear about the places other people have been to and liked as mostly when you go somewhere you go to all the typically places, but usually there are better places only the locals know about or that you have discouvered by chance. The best beaches, best non touristy and best touristy places.

Well, my personal favorite place in the world is the Haagen Daaz caffe in Leicester square, London. They have the best ice cream in the best location!

I'll have to think about a good one in Israel though. There are lots of fascinating places here (too many to count!), but I'll have to come up with something as good as whale watching while dining!

Oh yes and I have been there for icecream, as I live in London. They are the best for coffee icecream.
