Yes, I am calling the vet tomorrow!

Goat-Head, Dorky Fish's mom....has a quarter size flank wound. It is slightly pussy as well. It was not there this morning. I think the fighting between her & Fafeena has escalated to this now.
She's outside, so I have a hard time keeping a wound clean....what can I do to clean it tonight? I won't use peroxide because she can lick it, I did use soap & water, but she's fidgety & not so friendly, I'm not sure just how clean I got it.

Any suggestions for keeping it clean long-term as I assume the vet will prescribe anti-biotics?

No, I don't know of how to keep it clean if she is outside, but I would just let the vet get it in the morning. I don't know that there is a whole lot to be done tonight that she wouldn't lick off. Rubbing it too much could aggravate it too...I hope she is feeling better soon!

I got 2 weeks worth of anti-biotics & Panalog ointment to put on her wound. Hopefully, it will remain clear. I didn't take her in, the vet was booked solid. If it starts to look at all infected, she will be going in asap.

I was about to go out to give Goatie her meds when the dogs flipped out, like I've never seen before. Now, I'm too chicken to go out. Once they calm down, I'll go take a look at Goatie.
