Kitten Crystal, whom my friend is looking after for the time being, disappeared from her house about a month ago. The day before, she appeared at the gate looking like she'd never been gone. She's none the worse for wear, though we noticed her eyes have turned a very dark orange colour. Wonder if this is normal..?

Here are her homecoming pix!

Hey! You guys got a new mattress for me!

Hmm... Its quite soft, how much did this bedsheet cost?

Aaaahhhhh its comfy!

Think I'm gonna take a nap now...

Its tough to choose between a shoulder and the mattress....

Silly question, but it's definitely the same cat right??? Surely a cat's eyes can't change colour dramatically...

And is it definitely a girl, given that it's orange and most orange kitties are boys??

Oh and WOOHOO for her coming home - they must have been so pleased, she looks pretty comfortable

That's a very pretty kitty. How old was she when she disappeared? Kitten eyes do change from blue to whatever color they're going to be. If she was already an adult, I might wonder if that's really the cat you think it is

Yup this lil devil is definitely a girl, I thought my friend made a mistake about her gender too when I heard she got an orange girl, but no mistake

She's about 6 months old now, when she came to my friend she'd already had orange eyes. Just that now her eyes are a really dark orange after her disappearance.
