Hi Kerry! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to our questions! We appreciate your help & your knowledge!

I'm Heather, I have 3 kitties, LuckyGirl (tuxie, will be 2 in Aug), Louie (tabby, 1 yr), and Leo (siamese/tabby, 12 wks).... Ok, so here's my issue's... the baby, Leo is SUCH a torturer. When we 1st got Louie, LuckyGirl was quick to put him in his place when he was a kitten. She would give him the eye, and bop him in the head occasionally. But now they get along fine. Now the baby tortures both my bigger cats, more than just average play. He won't leave them alone! He jumps on LuckyGirl piggy back style, and instead of her whipping him into shape, she gets pinned to the ground & meows till he lets up. Then she runs away, and Leo will chase after her... He does the same to Louie, only Louie just tolerates it... he is an easy going guy. The little one jumps all over him & he just takes it... Are the powers that be changing in my home? Is the little "cat brat" taking over? Is there something I could do to keep the peace between them? The 2 boys have gotten along good so far. But LuckyGirl was never really a cuddler with them, she was semi feral when we found her at 6mos old, so I'm not concerned with her cuddling Leo. I just want them all to feel secure in their home amongst each other.

Hi Heather! No worries here, it is totally normal for kittens to raise hell with older cats, it's just the way things go in the cat world. Things will settle down with time, if Leo is truly bothering anyone, trust me they will put her in her place. But it sounds like so far, so good. There will not be a shift in the cat colony until little Leo reaches maturity at roughly 6months to a year, at this point he may challenge the others, so then you may have a shift within the colony, but not just yet.

Take care!
Kerry
