Nope it isn't just you but it has been faster this past week.

ETA that wheel is cool. I didn't pay attention until now.

I think the wheel is cool too.
The page is a bit slower at times for me.I always thought it was from me being on dial up though.

I have a very fast DSL speed....
that might be why I notice the occasional slowing at times.

Regardless of that issue...
TCS is still the best site on the web.

I like to play the AOL radio when I am on here (not that TCS is not entertaining enough) but I notice things like if a new song started right now, my typing stream would stop. It gets so bad at times, I totally lose what I was doing or lose the radio, or lose both. So until I can change providers, or AOL, I have pretty much decided I cannot listen to music and do anything serious on TCS at the same time. (AOL is how I link to TCS and a new song just knocked me down.)

I have AOL, too, so I'll have to check that out. I don't listen to radio stations while posting here, but can see where it might play a role. I think the problems I've been having recently are due to using the latest, not yet totally debugged version of the Opera browser.

I often have radio on the computer while online but not through AOL radio and rarely have a problem (I sometimes get a slow page when the radio browser first loads but while it is streaming it is fine).

Danny, our tireless techie, is tweaking the new feature. This site has so many active posters (who are going to love the new feature) that he wants to make sure the server can handle the expected "onslaught".

The mods have been testing (i.e., playing with it), just to find soft spots, and it's lots of fun!
