As many of you know I'm bringing my kitty Riley home on the 29th. I'm going shopping this weekend for his food. I plan to feed a mix of wet foods (Cal. Natural, Felidae, Merricks, etc.) but I want to feed him California Natural for the dry. It will be left out all the time but according to his foster mom he prefers wet and doesn't eat a lot of dry.

Should I avoid the Herring and sweet potato because of the fish content, and get the Chicken and Rice instead? He has never had any urinary problems but he is only 6 months old and I want to make sure he doesn't develop them because of fish.

Any opinions?

ETA - His foster mama says he never met a bowl of food he didn't like, lol, so I don't think flavor is going to be an issue with him!

Thanks! I was leaning towards the chicken and rice anyways, so I'll go with that. I'm going to try to avoid fish as much as possible with his wet food too, maybe let him have it once a week or something.
