becasue my cat seems to not want to keep it down, everytime i give her dry food with fresh water, 50% of the time she pukes it up, i always give her fresh water with dry food, wet food is no probs, she has no problem with that, i've tried to give her the dry food in small portions frequently but she still pukes it up, should i just give up on the dry food and stick to the wet cat food which she loves?

usually her meals consist on wet food for the whole of the week until the weekend where i give her the dry food to eat.

i'm gonna give her some cooked chicken to eat later on today i think no more dry food for now, what does everyone else think?

She may just be picky at the moment or it might be the type of food. like our stomachs changes so do cats. all of a sudden i could not drink milk. the same thing can happen with cats. Maybe her stomach cannot process the food type. is it fish flavored or chicken or turkey, maybe consider changing that before giving up all dry food

it's duck, rabbit and vegetables, she usually eats the same ingredients in the wet food type aswell.

Well if she's eating the canned and not tolerating the dry, then don't keep giving it to her. Was thinking you were feeding a cheaper dry, but from your description you are feeding a higher quality (with the duck in it)

The only problem is that because you can't leave dry food for your cat, when you need to go on a trip (weekend or longer) you'll have to either take the cat with you or have someone to come in and feed on a schedule.

Most times, you can leave cats for a weekend with extra dry foods with no problem.
