Missing Colter!

i haven't posted in probably a year or so! but i just thought i could have other cat parents help me out with support! a week ago, my lovely 3 yr old cat disappeared out of sight out of mind. he normally comes home every night to stay in at night and then go out first in the morning. well someone left the door open, i was gone not even 5 minutes to get changed, and he was gone! i'm extremely terrified for the worst, because we do live in the mountains, and he's very prone to wild animals out here. we've lived out here for a year, so i've never had a problem with him getting hurt and not coming home. the only good news i've gotten from this is that neighburs have been seeing him,but haven't been able to catch him. i,myself, have seen him, but he could be hurt(abcess on his back, it looks like??) and leading to be delirious and thats why he's not coming home. i've tried everything-trap, looking for him all hours of the day and night, etc. i have no idea what else to do besides continuing what im doing-and praying for his safe return.

the only good thing this week that has happened is that we found my sister's finace's cat(he's thebrother of our black cat) after a MONTH! i was compltely shocked that he survived after never being out to our house before-though very skinny and covered in ticks,he was alive. so it gives me great hope that Colter will be found!

anyways sorry this is so long, but Colter is my baby, and i figured i could get some support on thecatsite.com. any prayers and vibes are most welcome!! i will keep y'all updated on it!

i hope so too. ironically i just got a call about him being in their garage, and i quickly drove over their but he took off. it seems i'm always a step behind him
