North Shore Animal League America also offers a feral cat spay/neuter service at our facility in Port Washington, NY. In an effort to reduce pet overpopulation and end the needless suffering of unwanted pets, groups and individuals across Long Island humanely trap feral cats and bring them to the clinics at the League. In addition to the spay/neuter surgery, the cats are also vaccinated against Rabies. Since the beginning of 2006, North Shore Animal League America has spayed/neutered over 125 feral cats. The next Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Clinics is scheduled for June 24th. Additional clinics will be scheduled throughout the year.
