Here's Diva's kitten thread. I'm going to post pictures each day so everyone can see their growth. (Not to mention so that everyone can see cute pictures)
First off, Mommy!

Here's Day #3
-#1 doesn't seem to be growing as fast as the other ones. I'm going to have to go get a food scale today and measure its weight. I think I may need to start supplement feeding it. (I had to actually help it find the nipple this morning, it was all the way on the other side of the blanket while the others were nursing. Once I put it on though, it nursed like crazy.)

Here's the whole litter

The hubby wants to name whichever one we decide to keep Boo. Other than that I have no idea yet. I'm going to wait and see what all there personalities are, and probably give them names once their 3-4 weeks old or so.

Mommy's doing good today. She's much more relaxed now.
I wasnt' able to get the scale today (I had a REALLY bad day) so I'm going to have to run out tomorrow and get one. Hopefully #1 will be ok until tomorrow. Its not skin and bones, just a little skinny and not as big.
How often should I feed him? I know he's getting some from mom, just not enough for some reason. Can I use 1cc syringes?

Day #4
-Kitten #1 still isn't doing very good. I'm so worried to start supplement feeding him, because I don't want to do anything wrong, but I don't think I have a choice anymore. He's just not gaining any weight.

Kitten #1

Kitten #2
She's very quiet and loves to be picked up and carried around. (Is that normal for a 4 day old kitten? The other ones all scream when you pick them up?)

Kitten #3
This one's the big meanie. He keeps pushing everyone else away from mommie when they're nursing.

Here's Day 5
Kitten 2 and 3 are getting HUGE!
Kitten #1 was 140grams last night, and is still 140 grams, so he hasn't lost any weight overnight, which is good.
Kitten #2 is 185grams and Kitten #3 is 200grams.

Here's number one. Looking much better right now.

And one of Mommy.

They are still really cute, and i am glad that #1 is doing better Yours compard to mine looks shot-haired. So it kinda makes me think that all of my kittens are long-haired.. But Kallis is short-haired, and the dad was too.. Hmm..

I'm pretty sure they are short haired since there are no stray long hair cats in the area. I'm not sure whether the mother is considered a short hair or medium haired though.

Your kittens will probably be shorthaired. Unless both parents carried the longhaired gene. Which isnt very likely. They probably have more of the longer short hair. You know like some cats have really really short hair. Others have more rabbitish fur.
