Has anyone tried this one?

I saw it yesterday when I was at petsmart. I need a litter box that the dogs can't get into and I don't have enough room for a Booda box. I changed the cabinet doors on bathroom vanity and put one litter box in there.. so that works well... (and I'm quite impressed with myself how it worked out
) but I have the other one sitting in my tub (have separate tub and shower) which works for now... but hey, I'd like to take a bath once in a while!

Thoughts?

Wow.. that looks nice. The only problems I can see is getting them to go into something too small with a lid over it, and entering from the top.

Don't get a Booda... as much as our cats adore it, it's hell to clean b/c there isn't a specially-sized bag for it. Or, if there is, our store doesn't sell it. All we can use are the square ones for regular boxes, and that leaves a HUGE excess of plastic in the top corner where pee/poo/etc gets stuck and can't be cleaned off. I'm planning on chucking it at the earliest opportunity. It's far more suitable for a cat-bed than a litterbox.

It's actually a lot larger in person. I think even Weeble my big chub of a cat would fit easily in it.

I've been reading the reviews on it.. everyone seems to love it... although I'm thinking it might be cheaper to get a rubbermaid tote at walmart and just cut a hole in the top

I've never heard of one like that before but it sure does look interesting. We had the same problem not too long ago with our dogs getting into the litter pan- we just trained them not to go into the "cat room" and haven't had problems since
(only took a few days for them to really get it down that they weren't allowed in there without permission.)

haha, Chynna would get stuck going into that thing.

Also, Abby hates to get her paws dirty and perches on the side of the pan with 3 paws and stands tippy toe with one paw in the litter. She wouldn't use a litter box where she couldn't keep at least 3 of her paws out of the box.

That's what I was thinking. I just bought a large rubbermaid, but after I got it home, it is not tall enough to keep the top on, but it sure is nice and big otherwise.

My kitties like to poke their head out of the box while they're going, so I'm not sure if they'd like it.

I'd be most worried about a kitty jumping up on the edge and knocking the box over!!!
