the kids are keeping me very busy!
I took Seth to the Thorasic surgeon today, and she gave him the all clear. He doesn't have to go back to see her ever again.....unless he needs the surgury again that is.
His x-rays showed he still has a SMALL spot of pnemonia.
She said that she is thrilled at how well he is doing. So are we.
I took Sis to take her test for her learners and she PASSED!!!
OMG, I am now the Mom to a child that is old enough to drive.
How and when did that happen?LOL!!!
I will try and get on more often.

Tammy, it is always great to hear from you. I'm glad you are busy with the kids and that everyone is healthy
And remember to pry your fingers out of the dash every once in awhile. It helps build their confidence as drivers.

Glad you son is doing well!!! What a scarey time that was for you...and for us. It's awful to want to help so much and feeling so helpless.

So far as your daughter driving..... the years just fly by don't they? I was talking to my brother a few weeks ago and we were discussing where the time went. He turned 50 last September and I turned 45 this past March. Neither of us ever pictured us ever being these ages...that whole eternal youth type thing you know

NO, she did not drive home.In drivers Ed. she drove a small car.I have the Expedition, and I think it is far to big for her to drive. But, Shawn said that we need to let her attempt to drive it.So, when I have a few extra minutes and he is home to watch the boys, I will let her drive it some.ONLY if she feels comfortable doing so.
We live far out in the boonies and on a very narrow road. So, I will have to take her somewhere with roads wider.

Linda, yes it was a very scarey time for us all.He almost didn't make it.I have had so many Drs tell me that.I hugged his Thorasic surgeon and told her thank you for saving my sons life.Because that is what she did.

yep, I posted in that thread.

I will let her drive the Expedition when I go to town.
Thank you everyone!!! I know that it was because of your support/prayers/vibes that we are through that rough part.
